Age Policy
Chilliwack Casino is adults only. Players must be 19+. This page explains how we verify age, what we do if a minor slips past our checks and how parents can block gambling sites on family devices.
19+ Only
All players must be 19+. This covers every game, the free daily prize game and all promotions. There are no exceptions: no account may be opened for, or used by, anyone under 19.
You may play online only if online gambling is legal in your area. Age checks, ID verification and anti-money laundering controls all follow Canadian rules. Giving a false date of birth breaches our General Terms and gets the account closed.
Parental Controls
Parents and guardians can stop young people from reaching gambling sites. The most useful options are:
- Parental controls included in the operating systems of phones, tablets and computers
- Router or home broadband filters that block gambling categories across the household
- Filtering and blocking software installed on each device
- Separate user profiles for children, with app store purchases locked

When a Minor Is Detected
If we find or suspect that someone under 19 has an account, we take immediate action:
- The account is suspended immediately
- We request proof of age
- When we confirm an account holder is under 19, the account is closed permanently
- All bets and winnings are void
- After our checks are done, we refund deposits to the original payment method
If an adult lets a minor play on their account, we close that account too. When required by law, we may also share information with the relevant authorities.
Shared Devices
A phone or laptop used by the whole family is the most common route for a minor to reach a gambling site. Simple steps keep that door shut:
- Turn off password saving in the browser
- Log out after every session
- Protect the device with face ID, a fingerprint or a PIN
- Store payment cards and login information where others cannot reach them
Every action taken through your account is your responsibility, so protect your login carefully.
How We Check Age
No deposits until your age is verified. At sign-up you provide your full legal name, birth date and home address, and we match them against reliable data sources. If that is not enough, we ask for valid photo ID issued by a government, for example a passport or driver's licence. Real money play stays locked until your age is confirmed.
